Introducing “Rioghachadh Hel” – “Hel’s reign”

This is a 14 3/4 inch Oak wand, carved with a skull atop an inscribed pillar, has been collected during a October Hunters Moon. The insignia for Hel, of Norse mythology is a legendary being, said to preside over a realm of the same name. Pyrite, or Fools Gold,  is inset into the skulls eye sockets and nose cavity in recognition of her father and God Loki, the trickster, of legend.  Oak wood is long considered by Celtic folk to be a reliable, strong and protective material coupled with Pyrite to dissipate and remove negative energy.
